Battery powered beacons for vehicles are very popular with heavy haulage, escort and plant transportation as they can be mounted at the very end of the vehicle or even a metal part of the abnormal load. There is no need to run lengthy cables with a battery power beacon. They have a flashing or rotating pattern with a dusk operation only switch for night time use.
